Police arrest Neha Kakkar show hosts on fraud charge

Kathmandu : Police on Sunday arrested three persons associated with a company that hosted a musical show featuring Indian singer Neka Kakkar in Kathmandu on Saturday night.

Police have accused the company, Paramount Entertainment Pvt Ltd, of fraud as they sold more tickets than the venue’s capacity thereby deceiving the fans.

Hundreds of fans who could not enter LOD (Lord of the Drinks) in Kathmandu despite buying the tickets had urged police to take action against the company. Consequently, the Metropolitan Police Circle arrested Deepak Ghimire, Rabin Shrestha and another persons, according to DSP Habindra Bogati.

Bogati says they will be released if they agree to refund the fans. Otherwise, a fraud case will be filed.@onlinekhabar
